Set up directional jobs at the well site by receiving directional tools, inventorying them, setting up First reporting software and reviewing 5D well plan for accuracy pertaining to the current well site, and assisting LWD/MWD personnel as necessary in the rig up of their equipment.Design BHA for each section of the planned well in conjunction with client engineers and directional coordinators, communicate the appropriate components to rig personnel and supervise the assembly of directional BHA on the rig floor in conjunction with LWD/MWD hands utilizing mud motors or RSS both motorized and non-motorized.Monitor all surface indications and react as necessary to mitigate downhole problems and safely complete each section of the well in the most efficient and timely manner possible in both the lead and night tour positions.Closely monitor surveys utilizing Weatherford 5D software for anti-collision against existing as well as planned offset wells.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily drilling activities, costs, inventory and surveys and communicate through daily reports to Weatherford office personnel as well as site client representative.At end of job, insure that all inventory is accounted for and all tools shipped to appropriate facilities, costs and surveys are accurate and that final reports are sent to the appropriate parties, both client and Weatherford.
