I am the Technical Specialist and Sales Manager at ProSys providing fully engineered, compliant Sampling solutions to an International client base of Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.I hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineer from TUD Bolton Street (DIT when I was there) and spent the first 4 years at ProSys within the Engineering department. Initially as a Design Engineer and then moving to project manage solutions for our international client base for both our Sampling and Containment solutions.ProSys’ client base is made up mainly of pharmaceutical companies, but we regularly work in other industries where there are process safety concerns or general difficulties where a customised solution may be required. This includes the Nuclear, Food, Petrochemical and Chemical industries. Over the past 8 years I have been working with clients from California to Singapore and everywhere in between, developing and supplying Sampling solutions for existing and new pharmaceutical processes. The pharma industry has shifted more recently to more complex chemistry with considerably higher potency of the product. As a result, the solutions provided are largely customised on a case by case basis to suit the client application. In almost all of these cases, off the shelf solutions will not be an option.With the increased process complexity, integration of PAT devices can become difficult and problematic. I have provided a range of customised solutions for the integration of PAT devices for process monitoring and optimisation.
