Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as the Intelligence Adviser for Second Battalion, Sixth Marines Embedded Training Team from November 2011 to June 2012. Served as the Scout Sniper Platoon Commander for Second Battalion, Sixth Marines from July 2012 to present. While fulfilling this billet, deployed to Okinawa, Japan and South Korea as part of the Unit Deployment Program (UDP) from August 2013 to February 2014.

Mentored and provided guidance to subordinate team leaders on improved leadership and management of their teams. Developed products and presented briefings using Microsoft Office Suite to provide transparency in operations to primary members of battalion and regimental staff.
