Manages, plans and acts in a stewardship capacity for a range of programs and activities necessary to ensure the proper provision of mission critical technical and accommodations services for EHSB and its communications service partners. This position provides oversight to staff, programs and vendors in collaboration with external parties (e.g., Ministry I&IT Cluster, MGS, Infrastructure Ontario, Central Ambulance Communications Centres, Ambulance Communications Services, municipalities and private entities). This position manages initiatives to generate research/data/statistics, procure, and ensure the appropriate operation and assessment of systems, technical services and equipment to meet branch and Ministry objectives for the land ambulance and ambulance communications sectors. This position is Involved in the development of briefing, financial and policy materials and information related to ensuring delivery of services and programs in these areas.

Lindsay

In this position John lead, directed and managed all aspects of the operations of the Lindsay Central Ambulance Communications Centre (CACC) in providing ambulance communications services to Northumberland, Peterborough, Haliburton Counties and the CIty of Kawartha Lakes. Lindsay CACC is seamlessly integrated with the 22 other CACC/ACS in the Province of Ontario and ensures the provision of high quality land ambulance dispatch communications and emergency health services in the community. By managing the fiscal, technical and human resources of an emergency call centre operating 24 hours a day/7days a week, John promoted ministry goals and objectives to identify, prioritize and respond to the changing and competing needs of multiple stakeholders while meeting established response time performance standards and other public safety communications requirements. In this role John managed activities with respect to stakeholder liaison, local policy development, quality assurance program activities, data quality and service delivery trends and analysis.
