Part of a design team from Strathclyde working closely with Chivas management and employees to develop a portable product capable of automated whisky cask bung removal, actively reducing the risk of RSI to the workers. The final solution looked to use a portable pneumatic device to remove the bungs from their older casks, away from the main line.
