John received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University in May of 2004. Courses in Software Engineering, DBMS and Mathematics helped begin a strong interest in both software development and data analysis.John began his career at O'Conco Healthcare Consultants, a healthcare consultant firm working directly with large, urban hospitals in New Jersey. It was here that John both began working with and analyzing healthcare related data.John next worked for Amida Care as a programmer/analyst, taking his strong interests in data analysis and programming in the health care field to New York. He also began development of web applications, doing development for the internal application that served as a central hub for staff at Amida Care.Next, John was Manager of Development and Senior Programmer where he continued to develop internal web applications as well as taking the role of redesigning enterprise applications to better serve the needs of the organization. John then took on the role of Reporting Solution Architect where he led the development of enterprise reporting solutions in Tableau and MS-SQL along with Excel and Integration Services.Most recently, John was promoted to Manager of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence where he is excited to lead a team of analysts and data scientists to build reports, analytics, and business intelligence solutions for the organization.Specialties: Tableau Desktop / Server, MS-SQL, Excel, data integration, health care related data subject matter expert.
