HR Shared ServiceDeveloped and implemented HR shared service to ensure the volunteer process streamlined in the lead up to Games time.Worked with different departments to ensure that their needs with regards to all workforce, volunteers and paid staff, recruitment, training and games time scheduling were met.Managed the timeline of workforce training in order that they were always fully informed and prepared to carry out their roles during the games.

Responsible for recruitment of 70,000 volunteers on prestigious London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games during a nationwide tour visiting all co-host cities as well as Northern Ireland.Managed the sifting and scoring of applicants during preliminary assessment at assessment centres. Worked with large volume recruitment and wide variety of applicant profiles delivering excellent service.Managed Selection Event Volunteers, ensuring excellent support and guidance was provided to help with interviews for Games Maker applicants. Excellent planning and organisational skills were vital, together with effective prioritising and time management skills. Helped ensure each Games Maker applicant was provided with an excellent service during their Games Maker journey. Provided all the required information for the recruitment and training process, as well as making presentations to Games Makers

Managed section of the ground on match days, and was responsible for co-ordinating overall delivery of safe passage of players throughout their stay Ensured event workforce remained focussed, motivated and on role and when appropriate delegated responsibilities to other members of the team in order to maintain perspective over entire section of the ground. Ensured best effort and practice were met through detailed operational planning.

Progressed from general event safety steward to senior supervisor, working at some of the most iconic sporting and entertainment venues in the country, including Wembley Stadium and Arena and Lords' Cricket Ground.Managed and coordinated staff in busy environments where the use of initiative secured effective running of events. Open to new ideas and accepts help where appropriate. Responsible for co-ordination of public screening at cricket events as well and general safety and security of spectators once in the ground. Has been trained and is experienced to a high level so is able to be adaptable and flexible in changing circumstances. These tools allow for the use of discretion, with staff and with the visiting public. Worked in teams of varying sizes where it was important that management style was tailored for the most effective result. Could be responsible for a handful of people at a corporate hospitality function or a team of up to 100 at a major cricket match. Is comfortable at the heart of directing the operation.
