Key Responsibilities:• Provide advice / input and execute strategic objectives set by the Leadership Team.• Operationally and strategically manage the day-to-day running of the Facilities Services Business Unit, ensuring adequate resources are available to all stakeholders (including Airlines, Building Tenants, border agencies, aviation security, and all other Airport Campus teams).• Provide strategic input and support from a facilities perspective to all associated projects.• Develop a culture within Facilities to meet the goals of CIAL and its clients and our shareholders Christchurch City Holdings and the NZ Government.• Direct and manage cross company projects to meet CIAL goals.Achievements:• Analysis of the CIAL supply chain and making recommendations for savings and improvements.• Manage and coordinate office relocations and fit-outs for tenants both inside the terminal and for properties outside the terminal. This also included project direction for small new builds.• Proactive management of utilities (electricity, gas, diesel, water, waste, and telecommunications) to ensure service waste is minimised. This includes regular audits.• From the initial direction to outsource half the services of facilities, I successfully gained support from the Leadership team to strategically resource in-house rather than lose our intellectual property.
