• Tender Managing bid preparation teams in pursuit of multi-million dollar Low-Voltage Bid Opportunities. Efforts include coordination and bid review by subject matter experts from Legal, Finance, Contracts and Risk Management; Oversite of pre-construction estimating Cost Review; Proposal Management for Sales; Commercial Review and Approval Escalation with branch, regional and corporate management. • Proposal Manager upon request to create formal response to specific bid opportunities. Function includes sourcing relevant capabilities content, tailoring response to bid format/instructions, consistent formatting, and delivery to Sales for submission. • Estimated Security and other Low-Voltage projects, which were competitively bid, resulting in over $63M in Sales Revenue from 2007 through 2017. • Training and Mentoring services to Schneider Electric Pre-Construction Tenders including monthly calls to a rotational cast of estimators, one-on-one long-term instruction, development of estimating Instructional Guides, and presentation of tendering techniques at Tender Boot Camps. • Enabled consistent and repeatable Cost Projection and Analysis, to protect Gross Margin during implementation by creating equipment standards for estimating > transferable from pre-sales to operations. • Interpretation of Bid Specifications to meet the intent of the specifications while finding cost-effective alternatives during the estimating process. • Participation in the De-Scope process with potential customers and subcontractors to assist in closing business. • Developed relationships with Contractors and Product Vendors who provide us with competitive services/product pricing and sales lead opportunities.
