Beginning my career in retail has given me a focus on customer service excellence which has enabled my progression in the IT industry. I am committed to the consistent delivery of value in our service relationships with customers, suppliers, and end-users. I am quickly able to understand and appreciate service expectations and methodical in my approach to ensuring we always meet those demands. I have industry experience managing IT and telephony across a variety of business sectors and environments through my three main roles at The Emerald Group. I began as a First Line Engineer in 2016 and progressed to Second Line and then Operations Manager in early 2020. In my current role, I supervise the daily technical operations of First and Second Line and continue to play a Field Engineer role attending customer sites and managing service relationships. I also liaise with the Project Management team on resource allocation and work to complete. I support the Directors in identifying, trialing, and implementing operational business improvements across the provision of of our products and services for our customer base.I have a Foundation Degree in Computer Networks and IT Management and am a certified Zyxel Network Engineer and Sophos Engineer, I have completed Microsoft 365 Security Administrator and working towards Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator.
