Global Application Engineer – Packaging VentingProvide technical, sales, and commercial support for new opportunities and existing products and accounts for companies needing venting solutions for everything from industrial chemicals to agricultural chemicals to household chemicals and cleaners.

Global Application Engineer – Microfiltration Technologies – Medical Membrane Technologies Provide technical, sales, and commercial support for new opportunities and existing products and accounts in the disposable single-use medical device industry.

(concurrent commitment)Managed and led the highly successful Research and Development Testing Team that was responsible for all non-QC and non-release testing at the facility. -Hired, managed, and sponsored six full time lab associates.-Responsible for resource planning including equipment and personnel.-Led projects to quantify and plan for short-term and.

New Product Development engineering for all of Microfiltration Technologies’ business units (Automotive, Cell Phones, Cleanroom Garments, Freeze-Drying, Medical Membranes, Packaging Venting, and Protective Venting). Projects included new products, new technologies, line extensions, and derivative products. -Created, prototyped, developed, and patented.

Worked closely with internal and external Gore resources, customers, and suppliers to successfully improve existing product lines and create new products.-Identified deficiencies in existing products and created new products to replace them. -Led development team to create and produce an ePTFE-based filter material for use in ink jet cartridges.-Championed.

First ever process engineer hired for this team. Responsible for optimizing processes, procedures, and test methods. -Improved existing manufacturing processes to elevate product quality and increase yields. -Creatively eliminated a previously inexplicable manufacturing issue that appeared unpredictably and intermittently over time.-Utilized a lab scale.
