• June 2014 Completed Certificate 4 in Business Front Line Management
• Lead a team for mechanical maintenance in a pipe and tube manufacturing facility.
• Responsibility’s also include supporting and following Onesteel’s safety systems and procedures ensuring they are followed and employees are kept up to date and informed.
• Operation of SAP PM is a daily task to prepare work and place requisitions on vendors.
• Reviewing maintenance activities and maintaining task lists is also part of this role.
• Building bills of materials /maintaining and adding new PM02 maintenance plans to the system.

Deerpark

• After helping manage the installation and construction this role turned into the Production Supervisor.
• Tasks included:
• Setting up and installing a new tube mill as well as commissioning and operating the equipment initially to help train new operators in the job. (Mill was operating 3mths after beginning install.)
• Worked with Original equipment manufacturer and commissioning team to get the plant to an operational state in very short period of time.
• Organisation of deliveries of equipment and hire equipment.
• Keeping safety standards up throughout the project.

Onesteel Somerton Pipe And Tube

• During this role the following was undertaken.
• Used the maintenance planning systems in conjunction with the OneSteel Safety systems to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
• Worked within the OneSteel Contractor Management system MEX and then SAP to manage contractors undertaking work on the site.
• Helped to Implement SAP maintenance and systems to the site.
• Managed the day-to-day maintenance tasks that require the input/assistance of the maintenance tradespersons and contractors.
• Maintained and set up stock levels of critical spares and set up Bills of materials for equipment in SAP.
