• June 2014 Completed Certificate 4 in Business Front Line Management• Lead a team for mechanical maintenance in a pipe and tube manufacturing facility.• Responsibility’s also include supporting and following Onesteel’s safety systems and procedures ensuring they are followed and employees are kept up to date and informed.• Operation of SAP PM is a daily task to prepare work and place requisitions on vendors.• Reviewing maintenance activities and maintaining task lists is also part of this role.• Building bills of materials /maintaining and adding new PM02 maintenance plans to the system.• This roll also involves problem solving issues in reliability and setting up strategies for improving the reliability of problem pieces of equipment.• This roll also looks at redundant equipment and recommends store stock levels for parts based on needs and frequencies.• Good Skills in SAP WORD EXCELL OUTLOOK and some basic experience with Autocad.• Can read drawings and determine components.• Nominated recently for Onesteel Front line Leader award for organising and controlling all mechanical work over the xmas shut with no injuries or incidents around any work planned.• Conduct and plan Complex equipment isolations for maintenance work.

• After helping manage the installation and construction this role turned into the Production Supervisor.• Tasks included:• Setting up and installing a new tube mill as well as commissioning and operating the equipment initially to help train new operators in the job. (Mill was operating 3mths after beginning install.)• Worked with Original equipment manufacturer and commissioning team to get the plant to an operational state in very short period of time.• Organisation of deliveries of equipment and hire equipment.• Keeping safety standards up throughout the project.• Assisted in training and problem solving in commissioning period.• Project managed various parts of the installation and liaised with contractors to keep the project on target

Onesteel Somerton Pipe And Tube

• During this role the following was undertaken.• Used the maintenance planning systems in conjunction with the OneSteel Safety systems to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.• Worked within the OneSteel Contractor Management system MEX and then SAP to manage contractors undertaking work on the site.• Helped to Implement SAP maintenance and systems to the site.• Managed the day-to-day maintenance tasks that require the input/assistance of the maintenance tradespersons and contractors.• Maintained and set up stock levels of critical spares and set up Bills of materials for equipment in SAP.• Assisting in investigations into mill stoppages as they occur.• During this time was nominated and acknowledged for a Onesteel Front line leader award
