Responsibilities: Developed extensive Landscape Planning Permit Conditions to help ensure quality landscape outcomes this included: General conditions, Site analysis plan and report, Landscape master plan, Landscape functional and conceptual, Landscape detailed outputs and, Landscape construction and maintenance. Coordinated multiple improvements onto Council GIS system SSA Mapping which are highly valuable in current and future Planning and Building assessments. The improvements included: C90 Amendment transferring Land Subject to Inundation Overlay and Flood Overlay data, Development of slope analysis for the entire Colac region, Data extraction and, Graphical improvements. Development of high quality and industry engagement of request for quote templates including: Existing wetland assessment balancing water testing and ecology. Feature and level survey captured the required level of data and underground service locating. Key Achievements: Provided an alternative development design concept for proposed development applications. The applicant land is currently in Land Subject to Inundation planning zone and then amended to Flood Overlay. The change in planning zone limits development potential. This development was not progressing between government authorities. During the alternative design process, I collaborated with Recreations and Open Space, Engineering and Planning departments. The alternative option can potentially allow the project can becomes viable. Development outcome pending. Outputs submissions were reviewed in accordance with Wyndham Guidelines, Planning Permits, Plan of Subdivision, endorsed engineering, endorsed lighting, concepts, streetscape master plans and other planning background information. Internal responses were coordinated and sort. Collated summary responses were forward to consultants. Key Achievements:• Positive development industry feedback received from both consultants and developers resulting from my contribution in landscape assessments and industry professional knowledge capital • Developing automatic standard communication responses to inform consultants throughout their entire assessment process• Prepared and maintained innovative detailed progress reporting system. Reported multiple department’s safety, quality, environmental, projects and system improvement items. The progress reports tracks system improvements and major project delivery that has been reported to management monthly. The prepared progress report has also been a valuable tool in the forecasting future staff resourcing requirements and help to anticipated workloads.• Assisted in producing a key Council Position Plan for a significant settlement heritage site in Wyndham. The initial developer proposal submission was an overdevelopment application. The prepared Council Position Plan was extremely sympathetic to site requirements which helped to bridge the gap between high level PSP document and pre-permit application. The plan output has since been celebrated by Council for its innovation in conveying a collective vision for proposed development. Output was produced from extensive site visit analysis, internal workshops, review of the applicant submission against PSP submission and collaborative hand drawn concept. A computer rendered concept was developed from the concept sketch. My contribution exhibited high level of quality project management to ensure output meet project requirements. Outcome sparked reinvigorated interest in project team. The development amended their plans submission to align with Council Position plan. This has resulted in a significant heritage item retention in Wyndham, a highly benefit future community use and an outstanding urban design outcome of influence.
