My job functions consist of Citrix administration and server engineering tasks in a VMware environment. Some of these responsibilities include but are not limited to the designing and administration of Citrix farms and bringing them into production. I also provide both application and end user support for these Citrix Platforms. Provide Northern Operations Wintel Server Engineering and support services for over 400 Windows servers daily. Northern operations is responsible for the uptime and maintenance and uptime of this environment 24/7 and around the clock. Provide vulnerability scanning and remediation for a percentage of the overall number of servers in Northern operations as well as monthly windows patching off hours. I am also included in an on-call rotation to provide off hours support. Administer and support Dell/EMC SAN storage units. I also provide other business Units within General Dynamics with service and support regarding access to financial applications. I provide support for the end user and also other engineers with the other business units when there is an issue at the application or network level.
