Lead project implementations as Technical Consultant for numerous EHR implementations for Blood Banks worldwide. Implement all technical components for WellSky Transfusion (Mediware HCLL), BloodCenters (LifeTrak), and BioTherapies.

In this role, I am directing the implementation of a capacity management solution for a key client.I advise the client on the use of the Cerner CareAware Capacity Management suite, specifically Patient Flow.As a project manager, I oversee a team engaged in requirements gathering, data collection, and the development of clinical workflows.

Here, I led a team performing workflow development, solutions design, and systems development for the Cerner CareAware Capacity Management suite.I worked with the local client team, writing end user training materials and leading training on strategies to support the software following Go Live.The scope of my responsibilities included assisting with the development of a rule that improved integration with the Cerner Patient Status Order at client sites where the Capacity Management suite had been implemented.

In this role, I administered and supported Cerner production systems applications for the 336-bed hospital and clinics, directing a team of support professionals.My responsibilities included the implementation of Cerner applications into production and non-production environments, using the Cerner Olympus monitoring tool to track system performance.I served as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and leading upgrades to Cerner CareAware solutions that included RxStation, FetaLink, BMDI and MDI, and CAMM.My achievements included the execution of a No-Downtime upgrade of Cerner Millennium, with clinical users able to access the system during maintenance windows.I also oversaw the LightsOn audit process, achieving greater than 95% compliance with Cerner recommendations, the highest level achieved by the Medical Center.

I was hired to support client implementations of the CareAware Capacity Management suite and CareAware iBus Platform, and trained new hires in implementation techniques.I excelled in the configuration and implementation of solutions that improved the efficiency of patient admission, discharge, transport, and transfers.I served as the company’s first consultant for the CareAware Capacity Management solution, directing all implementations until the system reached General Availability status. I led projects to implement the solution throughout Canada, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Australia and the United Kingdom.I was awarded the Cerner Masters Award in 2013, the company’s highest accolade for associates.

In an on-site role in the network operations center, I resolved DSL network issues for a major Fortune 500 telecommunications company.I worked with network technicians to minimize the duration of network outages.I was able to satisfy FCC regulations by developing the appropriate reports.
