I am the Managing Director of Falcon Test Engineers and since launching the company 30 years ago, we proudly work with manufacturers of products and packagings who require their compliance needs meet in a timely and efficient manner. In other words, we help our clients meet their corporate objectives by making sure their packaging of dangerous goods are properly performance tested and approved in readiness for the transport of those dangerous goods.I leverage 38 years in business, developing relationships with manufacturers and regulators. During my tenure, I have worked in operational, quality and technical rolls with large multi-disciplined package manufacturers such as ACI Plastics Packaging and ACI Closures.Appreciating the limitations that package manufacturers work within, I also have a respect and thorough understanding of the compliance obligations placed on manufacturers by regulators. Basically, I see my role as bridging the gap that can occur between the manufacturers and the regulators and this is what makes my role so unique.As a result of solid relationships in these areas, it allowed me to extend the offerings of mechanical testing and compliance obligations through Falcon Engineering to include packaging systems for dangerous goods and specialized transport as well as an extremely successful online training package for dangerous goods training.www.falcontest.com.au

Initial objective was to create a stronger infrastructure within the manufacturing unit. This was achieved by the reorganisation of personnel within the departments and by the upgrading of work discipline procedures and attitudes. As a result, the company turned around from a $ 1.5m loss in 1985/86 to a $ 1.5m profit in 1987/88.

Initial objective was to unite two dissimilar quality control programs used on site under the one administration. Secondary objective was to become familiar with the people and systems in the Plastics Industry.

Responsibilities covered all raw materials, in-process and Finished Goods quality control activi-ties, as well as the administration of the quality control Section.
