Lead a team of 17 medical team members across field medical and medical information. Provide leadership to Medical Affairs team to develop medical strategies aligned with brand planning. Direct the successful deployment and support of the MSL team and their managers. Develop a Medical Excellence strategy to maximize the impact of medical affairs. Develop the Medical engagement strategy in conjunction with input from key stakeholders resulting in a doubling of KOL Advocates. Develop Medical shared goals/metrics and built system using advanced analytics to derive actionable insights from leading thought leaders. Assure medical input and support into commercial brand planning. Provide support to R&D in development and execution of Phase I-III studies. Provide input to key internal stakeholders on prelaunch activities and business strategies. Establish MSL team as a resource to clinical development to identify new trial sites and execute programs to increase recruitment to Phase III studies. Partner with Government Affairs on development and execution of patient advocacy engagement.

Medical Excellence and Training provide services to our US Medical Teams including Medical Liaisons and Medical Directors assuring high performance. The team is responsible for three functional areas, Training, Resources and Knowledge Management. We plan and implement the training for US Medical. We also build the systems and leverage technologies to enhance performance especially focusing on thought leader engagement and capture of thought leader insights.Responsibilities include:Strategic oversight and project management of multiple aspects of US Medical scientific, skills, competency, and technology training through cross-functional collaboration.Creation of intuitive unified training and field resource platforms.Medical Liaison career and skill development through integration of Medical Science Liaison competencies, administration of US Medical cross functional assignments and other initiativesNew technology evaluation and implementation to maximize Medical Liaison productivity and communications with Key Opinion LeadersImprovement of field resource management.Creating tools and processes for Medical Liaisons to capture insight from Key Opinion Leaders

Oversee the successful deployment and support of the US MSL team. Develop the MSL engagement strategy in conjunction with US Medical Affairs leadership and input from key stakeholders. Develop MSL goals and metrics. Oversee the successful development of field tools and resources. Serve as Medical Affairs liaison with Partner Company, informing and seeking input on Medical Affairs strategy. Provide input to key internal stakeholders on prelaunch activities and business strategies. Liaise with clinical operations and development providing feedback and input on trial execution and communications. Lead the development and execution of the ALS congress strategy. Partner with Public Affairs on development and execution of patient advocacy engagement.

Working with colleagues across the therapeutic areas, develop and execute the KOL engagement strategy. Provide leadership and direction to the Oncology MSL team and four Neurology MSL teams.
