Analysis Group provides economic, financial, and business strategy consulting to law firms, corporations, and government agencies. We work with an extensive network of experts at leading universities to develop state-of-the-art analyses and insights for our clients.

I worked in the Economic and Valuation Services practice at KPMG performing valuations of businesses, joint ventures, and equity interests as well as specific tangible and intangible assets for a variety of purposes. I had previously been a part of the Accounting Advisory Services practice. AAS focuses on the most problematic and complicated areas of GAAP and IFRS including securitizations, application of FAS 157 fair value measurements, derivatives and hedging and business combinations.

I concluded a one year postgraduate program at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) in July 2008. This highly selective program provides exposure to recent issues affecting financial reporting. During this experience, I have scrutinized complicated financial reporting issues and articulated opinions on the treatments most useful to users of financial information. My recommendations are communicated to the Board through memos Board presentations and small group meetings. Specifically, I have been involved in developing a new financial statement presentation model and evaluating implementation problems and inconsistencies with the current fair value measurement guidance.

I worked as a graduate assistant for introductory managerial accounting leading friday recitation sections and holding office hours.
