Responsible for preparing and maintaining of IT policy and process guidelines, identifies hardware and software required for functioning with the Standard Procurement System.• Trouble shooting all hardware and software issues ensuring that all systems operational and mission capable. Provides input to the Director for all system enhancements or necessary upgrades. Responsible for applying information system principles, concepts and standards to ensure compliance with Federal, Department of Defense, and Department of the Army ADP policy.• Serves as the activity’s subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for Standard Procurement Systems, FPDS-NG, Acquiline PR Web, General Funds Enterprise Business Solution, and Wide Area Workflow to develop office directives and procedures.• Responsible for the engineering, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, training, and management of Information Technology systems. Direct management of the following systems: Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Acquiline PR Web (PR WEB), VTC administration. • Responsible for Continuity of Operations (COOP) implementation and execution for Disaster Recovery purposes. • Serve as technical authority for computer systems, provided guidance and management oversight for systems and applications; provided technical support for multiple applications and operating systems, to include troubleshooting and problem resolution. Managed and evaluated testing of computer hardware, software and other information technology. Developed and managed implementation projects for deployment of desktop systems and applications.
