Leading the Portfolio Tiering Strategy to systematically capture and analyze Suitability, Condition, Utilization and Financial Performance data for defined asset categories across the real property portfolio. Portfolio Tiering will provide a mechanism to prioritize assets so that investment/divestment decisions can be made consistently across the portfolio, and progress can be measured and tracked. Leading four departmental asset management studies (Primary Reserve assets, ammunition depots, linear assets, and Living Accommodation assets) with the goal to develop strategies to deliver infrastructure, over a 40 year horizon, that is affordable, aligned with defence strategy and optimized to maximize utilization. Overseeing the management of the Defence Heritage Portfolio. Developing and implementing the necessary management tools to ensure that DND's heritage meets the objectives of the GoC and DND RP Strategies. Developed a framework to determine the total cost of real property during its in-service life cycle. Several factors were considered, including the development of asset type deterioration curves to determine the cost to bring the asset up to, and keep it within, a defined condition range. Stood up a data analytics team to measure the affordability of the infrastructure over a 40 year horizon, taking into consideration estimated funding levels, government initiatives, such reducing the carbon footprint and the condition of the existing infrastructure.
