- RTCS is a subsidiary of Raytheon, purchased in 2010. As the primary financial analyst for RTCS, my main duties revolve around translating data from Raytheon’s accounting system for RTCS leadership, and communicating RTCS forecasts and budgets to Raytheon finance for consolidation.- Analyze results from Raytheon accounting after the monthly close to ensure RTCS expenses and revenue are booked correctly. Communicate with accounting to correct any issues before the numbers become final. - Produce a monthly close package for RTCS upper management which compares actual results to budget and prior year, and includes analysis of each functional area and entity.- Create annual budgets for the company with annual revenue of $60M including projections for sales, revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and capital expenditures. Provide budget presentations which are submitted for Raytheon approval, and enter the approved budget into Raytheon’s forecasting system for consolidation. - Produce quarterly/monthly/weekly Profit & Loss forecasts for the company including comparisons to budget and prior forecasts, and update Raytheon’s forecasting system on a monthly basis. - Provide financial support for the RTCS functional managers including utilization reports, project backlog reports, pipeline tracking, sales reports comparing results to budget, holding monthly review meetings to explain the results by functional area, and work with the accounting group to correct any issues. - Manage the AR collection process with one employee who focuses on invoices being sent out properly by Raytheon’s billing group, customers paying invoices on time, and Raytheon’s cash team applying the payments to AR correctly.

- Provided financial support to the services organization which provides security software solutions to government clients. Support included providing labor, revenue, and cost reports to project managers as well as compiling forecast reports for corporate.- Planned and ran weekly/quarterly forecast and all hands meetings including creation of the presentations.- Point of contact between the services organization and Finance/Accounting for issues including billing, contract setup, and revenue recognition.

System Integration - assisting with the conversion of an accounting system for Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions. Raytheon purchased Trusted Computer Solutions last year and is converting their financial system to Raytheon's system.

Consulted as as financial analyst for the VP of Finance and Accounting/Treasurer. Provided financial support including internal templates for capital purchases and mergers & acquisitions, financial models for projections related to a new acquisition, and recasting their SGA budget for 2011 based on new management requirements.
