On-Air Announcer. The Station was a Japan-Owned Operation. Broadcasting to the American Forces, Civilians, and Dependents Stationed on the Island of Okinawa. The Station played the "Top-40" Hits of the Day.KSBK's,History goes back to the end of the Second World War. This was my First Radio job. Worked at the Station from May 1970, to July 1970. Received my Draft Notice, while reading the News "On-the-Air". This was a very unique Radio Station. It used the "Block" form of Programming. (Country,Gospel,Top 40, all in a Broadcast Day) After my Army obligation, I returned to WIXI-AM. Stayed with them, until I had the chance to move to Atlanta. The Station has now gone black, and the call letters were assigned to a Station, in Alabama.
