Set up the Work Force Management process in the Bay of Plenty, this is a new National policy in relation to a consistent practice of rostering staff to beat demand, managing and rostering staff training needs, leave management, liaison with Area Commanders around their business rules for their respective areas. Identifying and mitigating any staffing risks re numbers. Responsible for 4 staff to put this policy in place in line with the National Policy. This was for all 700 plus staff in the Bay of Plenty Police District.

Nz Police Dog Training Centre
The position is responsible for all dog training delivered to Police, NZ Corrections, Aviation Security and the Pacific Islands and for the maintenance of training standards. This includes all training of Police Patrol Dog teams, Narcotic Detection Dog teams, Explosive Detection Dog teams for all agencies trained through the NZ Police Dog Training Centre. Also responsible for police tactical dog training, search and rescue dog training and victim recovery dog training.Currently assisting in the development of new training manuals for all categories of enforcement agency dogs. Have completed Level 4 Cert. in Adult Education.Assist in the training and assessment of NZ Alpine Search dog teams, these teams are trained to locate people who are trapped after an avalanche.
Sgt in Charge Rotorua/ Taupo Dogs sections also relieved as O/c Bay of Plenty Regional Dog Co ordinator for 18 mths. Responsible for all dog team standards in Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Whakatane, Gisborne and Waikato.Assess and train dog teams for LandSAR and Alpine Search Dog teams in NZ
