Responsible for leading K-12 school through massive construction project to expand the school facilities by almost 50 % while conducting seamless operations of a non-profit organization with more than 650 students and 178 faculty, staff and contract laborers. Challenges overcome to achieve this included demolition and heavy construction coordinated and executed within inches of college preparatory classrooms filled with students. By developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers (students), stakeholders (parents), peers (engineers, project managers, architects, CEOs), partners (general contractors and subcontractors) and direct reports (maintenance managers and foremen for subcontractors), I achieved the objective of commissioning an award-winning LEED Building with no lost time injuries. Fiber was subsequently used in fabrics that won several Gold Awards at NeoCon World's Trade Fair and showcased in bags by Timbuk2 at TED 2006.

Led a sixman department tasked with maintenance and improvement of all power distribution and electrical systems, process control systems, production equipment, electrohydraulic systems, steam systems, material handling systems, plumbing and waste water systems. Owner of energy and water consumption and efficiency, setting goals and submitting monthly milestone reports to corporate engineer. Completed 8 projects with budgets totaling over $200,000 on time and under budget. Responsible for writing clear work specifications, comparing work proposals, awarding contracts. Achievements: + Design and implementation of a reverse osmosis waste water filtration process. + Creation of Federal Major Source Air Permit and Oil Spill Prevention, Countermeasure and Control Plan for Avalon I and Avalon II Plants. + Creation and implementation of Calibration and Instrumentation programs that received Underwriters Laboratories ISO 9000 registration and OSHA's Voluntary Protection Plan Star Certification.

Promoted from Training Officer. While leading three officers and 57 men, received U.S. Navy's Meritorious Unit Commendation for development and implementation of Atlantic Fleet weapons training strategy. Responsible for operation and maintenance of computerized combat systems simulation equipment and a fleet of eleven trucks used to transport and support these training simulators.

Managed 60 man department in the operation and maintenance of GE LM2500 gas turbine propulsion plant and auxiliary equipment including electrohydraulic steering system; electrical generation and distribution system; heating, ventilation and airconditioning systems; fuel/lube oil transfer and service systems; seawater distillation plants and compressed air systems.

Drafted and finalized all legal documents and correspondence on board TAYLOR for all courtsmartial proceedings, investigations, disciplinary actions, and legal assistance cases.

Received Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding performance of duties including training a 200 man crew in fire fighting and damage control techniques and supervising nine men in the maintenance of all fire and safety equipment. Responsible for machinery parts manufacturing, pipe fitting and all shipboard welding including critical hull welding.
