Responsible for maintenance and development of new features on Paya Connect, Paya’s customer-facing API service. Collaborated with peers, senior developers, and internal stakeholders to craft solutions to improve the platform’s core API and five supporting micro-services that process in excess of $1 billion in transactions per year.

Analyze water and soil samples using GC/MS in Volatiles laboratory using Standard Operating Procedures for the EPA 8015C, 8260, and 624 methods. • Maximized efficiency and quality of testing thousands of samples by prioritizing and organizing by turn around time and machine capacity.• Ensured calibration standards were made weekly to maximize quality assurance compliance, and maintained a written log book for recordkeeping.• Monitored and processed samples using Chemstation and Data Analysis software and uploading into a LIMS program to generate reports to send to clients.• Trained 5+ Environmental Chemists, with three moving into senior level capacities.• Peer review and finalize (QA) colleague data to ensure accurate results are being reported before submission to clients.• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on GC/MS, maintaining detailed records for reference. This includes but not limited to cleaning a MS source, clipping/changing GC columns and inlets, cleaning/changing fritted sparge tubes, changing traps, changing oil in diffusion pump.• Perform installation of new equipment. This includes installing new autosamplers and GC/MS units and installation of all relevant software.• Made sure open communication with my manager and project managers to ensure all concerns of clients were met, either through special needs or strict turn around times.
