I am a self-motivated individual that enjoys the challenges that a person faces in everyday life. I enjoy learning new things and enjoy sharing those new things with my co-workers. I am an excellent leader and take my job seriously and do it with pride. Currently it is myself and 2 other surveyors we are a three person survey crew, I am responsible for keeping up and making sure we have 7 day coverage and nothing gets missed. I currently go underground 4-5 times a week doing daily advance, line and grade, and setting lasers for the crew to keep them going the right direction. At any given time we have 6-14 headings and 1-2 stopes going at the same time. I am proficient at managing my time, self-motivated and driven to get the job done safely, efficiently and correctly. I am responsible for the teaching and mentoring of the other 2 surveyors and do all reconciliation, bonus and volume calculations and surveys. I also do weekly ore stockpile and concentrate surveys for reporting to the lenders. I am also working with the Senior Engineer building designs for the underground for monthly and 3 month plans for development. I have a lot of experience and knowledge both surface and underground in the mining industry want to join a team that has a lot to offer and will utilize my abilities to the fullest.I have been a surveyor for over 25 years for both surface and underground. I also help with blasting and have passed my background check and am certified to handle explosives. The survey equipment I am working with currently, is a Leica TS16 with a CS20 data collector. For daily advance and updates I am using AutoCad 2019 and Deswik for design building, weekly, solid, volumes and calculations. Previously at Hecla I was working with Vulcan, Deswik, S7 w/TSC 3, Lieca TCRP 1205+, 8200 CR-1014 I-Site Scanner, and C-ALS MK3 downhole scanner. For the scanners we were using I-Site Studio 6.0 for all the stopes solids and volumes. I have also worked with the Sokkia Set 3B2, 3, 4, S6, 1800, Topcon APL-1A, Topcon GTS-800, WILD T-100, and the Trimble 5600 total robotic one-man station. I also have experience working with GPS 4800, R6 and R8. The data collectors that I have worked with are the TSE-2, TSC-2, Trimble RTK receiver, Huskey data receiver, Sokkia SDR 22, SDR 24, SDR 31, SDR 33 and the HP-48. I have also worked with the Riegl LPM 800 Laser Scanner for monitoring of failures and bench volumes.
