I have now been brought back to the role of Education and Development Facilitator within the hospital covering the position I occupied prior to going to Hoople. An added dimension to my role on this appointment is the added responsibility of overhauling the full mandatory training delivery package for the whole of WVT. On top of this role, I am also responsible for delivering Conflict resolution and MAPA based training along with middle management coaching.

Responsible to cover 5 Major site areas providing training at all levels from consultants to porters both clinical and non-clinical staff, in the classroom and out in the workplace areas. Other areas included delivery to the Social caring agencies along with many of the primary school teachers on how to manage the children in their care safely without injuring themselves. I have been responsible for upskilling other trainers within the manadatory sector and are now helping them to move business into the private sector and schools.

This role was the forerunner to my current role ans as such many of the responsabilities are similar to the ones above. Ie. " to provide training at all levels from consultants to porters both clinical and non clinical staff, in the classroom and out in the workplace areas. To advise on measures necessary to minimise the risk of musculo-skeletal injury to staff and patients. To deliver highly motivated sessions to bridge the resistance to the training issue that comes with most mandatory training packages" . Successes: Increased overall attendance and reduced the number of reportable injuries over a sustained period of time in post. Established a network of link trainers to operate and provide cover in working areas.

Responsible for delivery of IT Training to members of the Hereford Acute and Primary Care Trusts covering the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs. Successes include the development of a learning management system and preparation of those members of staff interested in taking a formal qualification in computing. Was instrumental in the introduction of the electronic version of the ECDL program and developed it into a highly efficient and well sought after course

I was responsible for introducing and developing students in the use of Microsoft office applications up to advanced user level. This also included use of the Internet, email, Web design, and Visual Basic programming. All courses were externally validated by the NCFE.

Employed to design, construct and develop a company database that would provide information to the emergency services. Other responsibilities were to carryout training for all staff that were expected to interact with the system, develop reports based on the requests from senior management and oversee the quality and control of input data. Secondary duties involved the design development of the company web site, acting as direct liaison with service providers on issues of maintenance. Auditing of all company hardware and Software held, resolving software problems and the development and preparation of presentation media used for prospective clients.
