Working on a fleet of superyachts for a prestigious owner. Currently employed as a mate on a 24 metre. Previous to this I was on a high speed 50 metre in build and conducting sea trials.

Landing craftsman 2nd class in an amphibious recconnaisance role as part of 539 ASRM and Brigade Recconnaisance Force. Primarily surveying beaches and using coveret surveilance techniques to gather information and brief up the chain of command

Worked in a variety of roles in a 6 man amphibious reconnaissance team. Primarily used ahead of the main task group to survey beaches, and then move inland to conduct more traditional surveillance. Whilst in this role my boat handling, navigation (land and sea), team work and ability to think on my feet were often tested in strenuous situations, day or night and far from any support. Also during this period I took part in the Olympic security task, this included being 2nd in command of an armed boat group in central LondonJan 10-April 10. 9 Assault Squadron Royal Marines onboard HMS Ocean. Worked as a crewman on a landing craft both in the UK and Norway.Whilst in this role I was responsible for high standards of craft care and maintenance. My patience and people skills came in useful when working from a warship when their main effort often didn't lye with the landing craft and their crews.

Worked in a variety of roles in a 6 man amphibious reconnaissance team. Primarily used ahead of the main task group to survey beaches and then move inland to conduct more traditional surveillance. Whilst in this role my boat handling, navigation (land and sea), team work and ability to think on my feet were often tested in strenuous situations, day or night and far from any support. Also during this period we pioneered methods of insertion from certain aircraft with certain boats. This meant I was the first coxswain to under sling from a Sea King and developed the technique.

During this period I took part in the Olympic security task, this included being 2nd in command of an armed boat group in central London. This role was integral to security as the maritime stop element and my role was to produce watch lists, supervise loading and unloading of weapons and the general day to day man management of the shift ensuring we were always ready in all respects.

Close Combat Troop, Operation Herrick 9.Working as a general duties Marine in an operational fighting unit. This role taught me reliability as I was a machine gunner often responsible for the security of my team and covering other teams under fire as they manoeuvred around the battle space. It also taught me to follow orders thoroughly and make sure any task I was set was completed to the best of my ability
