Fields Point Wastewater Treatment Facility – Field Eng.Objective was to reduce the total nitrogen discharged into the bay. It's the largest IFAS biological wastewater treatment process in the world. It has the capacity of 200 million gallons per day and flow to the facility comes through 61 miles of pipeline from 4 towns.Bucklin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant - Field Eng.The work consists of modifications to the facility’s aeration basins to provide improved nitrogen removal, process/mechanical improvements to several other areas of the facility, conversion of the site electrical distribution, and improvements to the facility’s flood protection berm.WPI Faraday Residence Hall – Field Eng.This 258-bed, 89,000-square-foot, apartment-style student residence hall was designed to meet LEED Certification standards. The fast-track design-build project features four-person apartments with full kitchens, living rooms, and compartmentalized bathrooms. The air-conditioned building also includes recreational facilities, technology suites, and full wireless access. The design of the building called for significant green space including a plaza and sitting wall.Smithfield Tertiary Treatment Upgrade – Field Eng.The Tertiary Treatment Upgrade included construction and installation of a Ballasted Microsand Flocculation System, associated process tanks and building structure, a lime silo and feed system. The process is a high performance compact clarification system using microsand enhanced flocculation and settling.Vassar College Science Center – Field Eng.This project is an 80,000 SF Bridge Building with a two-level skywalk. There are modern labs, faculty office suites, flexible classrooms and gathering places and an outdoor seating area. The project includes extensive renovations to New England Building and Sanders Physics buildings, a renovation of Olmsted Hall, and the demolition of the Mudd Chemistry Building.
