My practice is devoted to complex litigation and attendant counseling to manage risk before litigation. I take pride in working diligently to protect our clients' interests and regularly litigate demanding cases through trial. Since beginning my career in 2003 I have represented sophisticated clients in all aspects of litigation including several bench and jury trials in federal and state forums throughout the country. Three areas in which I have subject matter expertise include: (1) intellectual property litigation (concentrating on copyright and trademark disputes as well as trade secret misappropriation); (2) commercial litigation (often defending clients in the information technology/software sectors, conversant with fiduciary relationship and corporate governance issues); and (3) defense of class action and qui tam claims for business clients (usually resisting claims for consumer fraud, deceptive trade practices and unfair competition).
