I am happy to announce that I was selected by Essex Property Trust, as their Resource Manager. I bring a wealth of multifamily experience to the position but there is still lots to learn. I work with an incredible team located in Seattle, Northern and Southern California. Our focus is reducing expenses through resource efficiency (water/sewer/energy/waste reduction, etc.) With over 250 sites throughout the west coast, there is ample opportunity for cost reductions.

Based on my extensive experience in residential energy efficiency, I was selected to manage PSE's affordable housing program, multifamily new construction and retrofit programs and the single family new construction program as the Business to Business Market Manager in the Residential Efficiency Group at Puget Sound Energy.

Seattle City Light, Seattle Wa

Conducted small business lighting audits in the Seattle City Light service area. Documented existing conditions and identified energy efficient upgrades. Met with business owners to inform them of utility costs/energy savings and lighting quality of new fixtures.

Seattle City Light, Seattle Wa

Planned, implemented and managed the BUILT SMART multifmaily new construction program. After Bonneville Power Administration's energy efficiency funding was cut, Seattle City Light continued to offer energy efficient programs. The BUILT SMART Program was an extension of the Super Good Cents Program sponsored by the BPA. Because the BPA funding restrictions were removed, I was able to develop a program that incorporated energy efficient incentives not offered by the BPA. R-26 walls, highly efficient thermostats and upgraded whole house fans were some of the new measures offered. During my tenure as program manager, 14,000 market rate and affordable housing multifamily units were certified as BUILT SMART. This program continues today and engages developers building multifamily housing in the Seattle area.
