Chief Logistics Officer
Current-Strategic Planning: develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation routes, consistently improve service delivery, and reduce operational costs.- Fleet Management: Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and optimization of company’s vehicle fleet. Ensure fleet vehicles comply with safety, insurance, and healthcare transport regulations. Develop systems for tracking vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.-Operations Management:Direct day-to-day logistics operations, including dispatch, driver coordination, and scheduling patient transport.-Compliance and Safety: ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including HIPPA, ADA, and healthcare- specific transport requirements.-Driver Management and Training: Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of drivers to ensure they meet standards for safety and customer service.- Technology and Innovation:Leverage technology platforms to optimize dispatch, routing, and fleet management.Lead initiatives for adopting new technologies to improve logistics efficiency, such as telematics and real-time monitoring systems.Evaluation and implement automation solutions to streamline logistics processes.-Customer Service and Stakeholder Communication:Collaborate with the customer service department to address service issues and ensure patient satisfaction Maintain clear communication with healthcare providers, patients, and third party partners to coordinate transportation schedules.- Continuous Improvement: foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing logistics data, identifying trends, and implementing best practices. Lead efforts to improve response times, reduce wait times, and enhance overall service reliability.
