Beginning my career with a de novo bank has allowed for full immersion into bank sales, strategy, and operations. As a result, I have acquired a broad skill set which includes having worked in front end functions such as the teller line and new accounts as well as in back end positions in construction and commercial lending, project management, and operations. In directing TowneBank’s credit and debit card departments, I have contributed significantly to both the top and bottom lines as well as provided guidance to the ATM and merchant operations. My contract negotiations experience has been an invaluable skill to the success of my department and to the charitable golf tournament for which I am the director.A devotion to customer service is paramount to working with internal and external members and stakeholders. My position has afforded me the opportunity to work closely with other departments. I have created sales training and sales presentations related to our payment products for our bankers and have reviewed and refined procedures and systems to streamline operations of those products. I have worked in concert with the marketing department to sell and launch products and to train our staff and members on payment products. Additionally, I have ensured that proper controls are followed to mitigate risks in an effort to maintain alignment with the expectations of the audit and compliance department. Relationships are important to TowneBank, to me, and to success in any walk of life.
