Performs duties as Data Manager and executioner of state and federal regulations within the State of Ohio's Registered Apprenticeship council office. Provides technical assistance and information to internal and external employers and executes Apprenticeship program services and/or program support services; reviews all Apprenticeship program transactions submitted within the federal US Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System for compliance with state and federal regulations to make a certification or denial determination. Reviews, evaluates, and interprets supporting documentation submitted; consults with upper management when there is difficulty making a determination and recommends procedures and practices to improve productivity. Maintains and inputs data into Apprenticeship electronic databases and trackers; collects and formulates data for reporting to the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council; handles confidential/sensitive materials, stamps and finalizes all documentation and transactions. Reviews and evaluates program operation and effectiveness of all registered apprentices and registered apprenticeship programs in order to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action.

Project Manager - Assist Veterans Affairs Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (VR&E) Veterans in finding employment and/or gainful education by aiding them with searching labor market information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, career search activities, and consideration of service connected disabilities on potential career paths. Collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to identify needs of Veterans. Utilize computer databases to improve tracking records.DVOP - Assist disabled Veterans with seeking employment through providing intensive services for a collaborative effort from the county employment agency. Refer Veterans to assistance through the various agencies within the community. Interpret and advocate compliance to state and federal employment laws. Review grant requirements and implement services to meet the employment needs of individuals with significant barriers to employment. Utilize employee counseling techniques to obtain information about employment history, background, talent, and competencies to identify and mitigate barriers to employment; overall goal of decreasing unemployment. Instruct individuals in career development techniques – job search strategies, resume development, and interviewing. Plan/promote employment-related programs (career planning presentations, workshops and work-experience programs). Conduct outreach and Network with agencies/employers to create internships/job opportunities, encouraging hiring Veterans, and cooperation with external resources. Ensure that the proper documentation sighting the intensive services provided and the proper maintained documents are inputted within the State system, showing dates and times that the actions were taken. Provides appropriate assistance to local OMJ Employment and Training Centers through surveying in order to determine customer satisfaction with disabled Veterans services. Attended National Veterans Training Institute and VROE Training as required.

Manage a caseload of clients having long term severe mental illness. Provide services in order to assist, coordinate, observe, linkage of services, and educate the mentally ill to become as functionally independant as possible. Ensure that the client overcomes the barriers that are presented within their lives as successfully as possible. Assess client needs, developing, implementing and reviewing service plans, and working with other community resources in meeting/achieving client service needs. Accept newly assigned cases in which the diagnostic intake has been completed by a licensed provider, and offer input to the provider about possible behavioral or psychiatric conditions that have been observed.
