April 2023 – Present Hyperoptic - Field Team Manager In April 2023 with all the success I had on previous projects I was asked to head up the EAD replacement project. This meant finding the engineers to do the project, Training, Tooling, New Team Charter and looking after the teams needs and day to day issues. This product is very complex, and it has been done in the past and failed. It has now been tried in Scotland and Liverpool/ Manchester and they have had some good success, and this is now why we are completing the work in the London area. I now have a team of 19 split into teams of 3 working across both East and West London. As a result of our efforts in the second quarter of the year we have achieved completion over 100 jobs saving the business £160.000 And has a quality score of 100%

Since starting Hyperoptic in December 2020 I have been able to broaden my knowledge in management skills and have been learning and attending courses including SSSTS, NRSWA, EUSR Etc and have been really excelling in my field. In May 2021 I was asked to become a Field team manager under the Network Build section of the business to look and improve the on boarding journey for new recruits. This was a huge challenge as I had to design it from the start from when the engineers finished their induction training to when they left me once they had successfully completed, they’re on boarding. Duties included building team charter to set out expectations, safety check’s, sorting out competent buddies, uniform, Tooling, and all day-to-day issues and lastly designing process where portfolios were built for each engineer so they could gather evidence of what they did as part of their journey, so they were able to use this when it came down to their levelling. This project was a great success and over the period I successfully onboarded 130 new recruits with some of them now moved on and have been promoted. As a result of my efforts, I have received many Hyperfives from engineers as well as managers and I was blown over to receive a Hyperhero award personally from our CEO Dana Tobak at the London Roadshow Other project I completed during this time was being the point of contact for all training in Network Build, this meant looking and locating courses for engineers, booking of the courses and if needed making sure that accommodation was provided. This was another great success story as over the time I managed to train and upskill engineers with over 500 courses completed.

December 2020- May 2021 Hyperoptic - Field Team Manager I first started at Hyperoptic in December 2020 as a Field Team Manager under the new Build section of the business. During my time at there I was managing up to 17 engineers in the field and looking after their wellbeing and day to day Issues and problems they may have including work stack, stores, safety, and quality. Having only just joined I had to learn a new set of key skills and systems, including Cezanne, Infinity, I-Auditor etc. During that time, I was also completing the Management essential courses and have been Successful in completing the Quality of Hire Course and training. In Hyperoptic there is a wealth of learning systems in which I have been able to take advantage of and have been completing as many courses as possible on Hyper Learn system to broaden my knowledge and to help me become a better Manager.
