Also involved in compiling financial reports and analyses, whilst working to strict deadlinesDuties;• Examining the company’s financial records and reporting activities.• Ensuring all expenditures are properly authorised.• Recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profits.• Making sure secure records are held of all accounts.• Analysing the company’s financial performance.• Giving professional accounting advice to those who ask for it or need it.• Preparing monthly management accounts using Sage Business Intelligence.• Completing detailed accounting transactions.• Checking invoices against orders.• Performing General Ledger reconciliations.• P&L and balance sheets reporting.• The posting of Accruals, Prepayments, and Journals.• Checking, calculation and processing of management fees, rebates and revenue.• Preparation of periodic financial statements, cash flows and associated notes.• Maintaining the general ledger.• Preparing financial statements, including tax returns.• Strong Excel skills.• Sales and purchase ledger.• Computing and submitting VAT201 and EMP201.• Maintaining Cashbook and petty cash.• Maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register
