Reports to the CFO, Responsible for the day to day smooth running of the IT department as pertains to Project Management, Asset Inventory, Security, Budgets, Forecasts and Helpdesk Services. The primary focus of this position is the management of a stable and secure computer network environment while continuing to align and anticipate IT projects and services with the business goals of the company.

 Contracted to Hydril Company LLC for Systems Administration support and Project management for GE Oil & Gas integration. Project lead for integration of 50+ VMware hosted servers, 40+ physical serves and eight global remote sites into GE Oil & Gas network. Responsible for support and trouble shooting of all server platforms including Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Linux, VMware and Citrix.

 On site network and server support for business clients. Network and domain security diagnostics and recommendations. Responsible for support and trouble shooting of all server platforms. Responsible for support and implementation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless Provide recommendations and implementation of different backup strategies based on company needs.
