About John Greco
I am currently in a supervisor role at the most prestigious and oldest university in Australia. I have managed, designed and maintained the Vice Chancellors personal residence as well as 5 campus’ across Sydney region. I have been integrally involved in tree management and strategy on campus, yearly budgets, lead horticultural consultant to all external design contractors and event organisers. I have also worked alongside the university’s planning team to construct future large scale outdoor design and urban planning on campus to improve student experience. I have been involved in horticulture almost my entire life growing and distributing plants to local nurseries at a young age. I started my career in retail ordering garden stock for numerous stores, visual merchandising as well as managing teams for commercial chain Big W. My online social media project The Blossom Warrior is an ongoing site that will include video demonstrations and instructions on basic horticultural tasks through You Tube, info and images through Instagram and Facebook and travel horticultural memoirs for travelers. The purpose is to educate the public and to concrete my ongoing personal development.
