In this role I create and hold training workshops on data entry and analysis with government staff while introducing new tools and approaches to the organization. Working with COTVET's M&E team I created a 5 year M&E strategy plan along with templates for monitoring plans to be utilized for all project M&E.

This included interviewing staff and partner beneficiaries to document significant change and establish basic needs assessments. Was responsible for assisting in the development of new partnerships with INGOs, Government bodies, and NGOs and the evaluation of such partnerships.

Supervised 10 local staff to bring local practices and approaches to supporting the lodge’s goals in both hospitality and environmental protection.Responsible for expanding the lodge’s brand and securing the lodge’s first Tripadvisor certificate excellence and a 20% spike in occupancy over final 3 months of role.

Responsible for the Economic Growth portfolio at Amplify which included:Management and overseeing of Ghana Internally Generated Funds Technical Support (GIFTS) project across Ghana. Overseeing 3 pilot locations and the management of the three responsible staff.Building relationships with Ghanaian government officials at the ministerial level, NGOs, CSOs, and private firms to explore new opportunities, support current operations, and ensure regular communication. Research and investigation into future economic growth opportunities for Amplify both in Ghana and across the continent.

Primary manager of IGF (internally generated funds) Sunyani district pilot project. Responsibilities include:- Overseeing logistics and human resources for all five stages of the IGF pilot and being responsible for the execution of each phase such as, hiring local staff for short periods of times for certain pilot stages and evaluating their performance.- Acting as the the main contact point for the Assembly Administrative staff to set tax rates for the pilot, Valuation Officer and Software Engineer for pilot related activities. - Working closely on project design and implementation with the Senior Implementation Specialist and the Senior Manager.- Being trained on QGIS and other GIS software in order to support GIS work during the Discovery phase.The pilot stages are: Discovery – Streets are named and houses are given numbers. ; Valuation- Each house is evaluated by the Land Valuation Division in a mass valuation exercise to determine its rateable value. ; Billing- Owners receive bills for their houses. ;Collection- The taxes are collected through financial institutions.; Enforcement- Unpaid taxes are collected.

A WASH based program operating in small communities outside of Leon, Nicaragua. Promoting and providing Bio Sand Water Filters as a clean water solution working with beneficiaries to ensure the sustainability of the project.Additional projects are aimed at creating a health and sanitation curriculum to be taught to children to partner with the implementation of a Slow Sand School Filters in schools. Further work with a local women's group towards small plots of farm land to provide nutritional and profitable crops to the local community through sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. The Water Project Interns are responsible for the successful implementation of these projects through surveys and working groups with locals.

Worked with community centre programs designed to provide additional support to members of the community. Primary among these were childcare programs designed to provide children with safe places outside of school with a focus on children's physical and mental health.Other programs included local community gardens and engaging the different cultures in the community to incorporate into further programing and events.

Was a point of first contact for asylum seekers contacting the organization with the responsibility of walking them through the rest of the process. This included interviews typically done through interpreters to understand their history and use that information to examine their case for asylum in Australia. If we felt their case could benefit from our assistance research would be done into their claims and the situation in their country of origin to be compiled into a report submitted to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
