With a passion for dirt bikes at a young age, John started off racing at local Events. After a few years, John got bored with the racing scene and wanted to move on to something more extreme. At 16 he built his own metal FMX ramp, and started his FMX career, by performing at Monster Truck Shows, Rodeos, Racing Event and doing Demos throughout the West Coast. In 2007, John and his wife Leesa started Animosity FMX. The Company started off small just selling shirts online and at the Events John performed at. After breaking his back for the second time in 2009, John decided it was time for him to end his FMX Career, but still wanted to be a part of the industry. In 2011, John decided to make his dream a reality and host the first ever Pro-Am FMX Competition in the state of New Mexico. Now almost 7 years later, Animosity has grown more than John had ever imagined and is known world-wide for hosting top notch Pro-Am FMX Competitions. When John isn't promoting Animosity, he is busy working on his other Company JL Designs, a Graphic & Web Design Company he and his wife started in 2009. With his riding background, John has created his niche market in the Action Sports industry, designing websites for top names such as Sean Geiser, Tom Kapusta, Billy Giron and many more.
