As a neuroscientist with a strong foundation in molecular biology, I’ve dedicated my research to understanding the intricate mechanisms underlying memory formation and the neuroscience of wellbeing. My past work explored the molecular, cellular, and systems-level interactions involved in long-term memory storage, while my current research focuses on the interplay between social experience, neuronal communication, and immune cells in promoting enhanced cognition and resilience to stress. Additionally, I’m investigating the impact of neuroscience-based wellbeing education on student behaviors and long-term health outcomes. My passion for teaching extends to courses such as "The Mind-Body Connection in the Neuroscience of Wellbeing" and "Molecular & Cellular Mechanisms of Memory," where I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. I am eager to leverage my expertise to contribute to mental health initiatives, particularly among young adults who are experiencing increasing rates of mood disorders.
