Leading project to improve sourcing, managing, and delivery of Shell's global infrastructure projects and activities that are currently executed by a wide collection of key suppliers and agencies.

Significantly improved the project delivery performance of our global infrastructure work outsourced to our three partners which involves 1,600 active projects at any point in time. Set up the Shell-led PMO to manage retained project work, designed and implemented a project issue escalation process, improved the transparency of our supplier interfaces, developed a concise Delivery Rules documentation of our rules and procedures, and delivered performance improvements by introducing a release-based change management system.

Implemented key applications for Shell Exploration and Production:* Designed database and applications for end-to-end materials requisition, procurement, inventory/ warehousing, and invoicing and payment* Well log processing and charting applications for downhole readings* Implemented Shell Oil Company's daily report upload and software download for offshore rigs* Implemented Shell Oil Company's first computers and applications on offshore rigs

Participated in PMI activities:* President of Houston Chapter - expanded the chapter by introducing the first satellite chapter site (downtown Houston and supported the Clear Lake startup), initiated the partnership with University of Houston which has grown into a collaborative venture that helped U of H achieve significant program enhancements, and improved revenue growth and scholarship funding. * VP of Professional Development - enhanced the variety and quality of the project manager training, especially the PMP preparation courses. Also enhanced the monthly presentations at chapter meetings including introducing panel discussions with seasoned practitioners.* Alumni of Leadership Institute - participated in the second annual PMI Corporate sponsored class which brings project managers from many disciplines together for focused leadership training and sharing.
