A highly qualified & experienced scientist with experience of a range of water quality, operational, regulation, process, R&D, and environmental activities within the water industry. Worked for Yorkshire Water since 2000, with previous experience with water companies and consultants in a variety of roles. Since joining YW the focus has been on helping develop professional relationships with DWI and other Regulators as part of the delivery of water quality schemes, and Periodic Review Business Plan submissions. Developments of reporting, data handling, and IT systems to support implementation of the 2000 & 2007 WQ Regulations have been delivered. Works as part of groups which link Business Units, Innovation Delivery, and research partners. Seconded to Kelda Water Services as Operations Manager for Project-alpha, Northern Ireland PPP bid team.Externally holds a number of roles with Water UK etc, including at present, Client Manager – Drinking Water Quality & Toxicology for UKWIR, Member of Water UK Standards Board, Member of Water UK Strategic Drinking Water Network.
