Responsibilities include developing quality plans for each new product, performing process verification for all new production builds, developing work instructions for manufacturing and inspection, hosting any internal customer process audits, and training incoming quality inspection. • Performing PCB supplier process audits and locating second source PCB suppliers• Maintain CCA manufacturing internal audits and following on any findings and address thru CAR process• Provide feedback to quotation group for new job bids on inspection time and identify any unique requirements from the customer.• Responsible for four quality inspectors and establishing a list of their priorities and daily tasks• Provide feedback on in process defects and identifying root cause and making process improvements to address issues.• Provide feed back to other DRS sites for in house RMA repairs and coordinating the return of repairs

I oversee quality, supplier quality engineering, process engineering, new production launches, and qualification for second source vendors of critical components. My duties include creating and maintaining procedures for RoHS compliance, 8D corrective actions, manufacturing process documentation, finding and qualifying Asian manufacturers and suppliers, managing qualification schedules, determining test procedures, carrying out failure analysis, 8D root cause analysis, and issuing as well as handling elevated customer support issues.
