The Veteran Services Center (VSC) on Boise State University provides a central location for U.S. military veterans and other military-affiliated students to find community and access to resources both on and off campus. The VSC also serves to certify GI Bill® educational benefits to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), thus enabling students to use their benefits to pay for some or all of their educational costs.

• Recruited, retained, trained, equipped, and commissioned over 200 cadets to become officers in the United States Army through a four-year program, exceeding Army goals.• Led successful leader development programs in four universities across Idaho.• Trained and certified 20 military and civilian instructors to teach, train, and evaluate cadets and peers; redesigned and continually updates evaluation and training methods.

• Directed, trained, and equipped a 600-person organization within the Army's 82nd Airborne Division to respond, relocate, and operate globally within hours.• Selected to execute US national policy in extremely high-stakes, austere, and dynamic overseas environments, achieving overwhelming success.• Implemented and supervised systems to maintain military equipment worth over $200MM, and trained the right personnel to effectively operate it successfully.• Deployed the organization to multiple locations in the US and overseas.• Worked with and trained international stakeholders to successfully achieve shared national policy goals.

• Plans Officer for multi-agency government task force with Afghanistan-wide responsibility; allocated resources and strategy to develop the rule of law in Afghanistan.• Led planning teams and working groups for development of mid-range and long-term plans to support military and national policy objectives.

• Planned, resourced, and administered live-fire tactical exercises to train units from the US Army, Marine Corps, and other military units from eight European countries.• Led a team of 12 subordinate Coach / Trainers to provide performance-oriented feedback to training unit leaders through formal and informal processes, teaching, and coaching.• Requested, allocated, and accounted for all ammunition and explosives for every real and simulated weapon system used in training over 40,000 soldiers with 100% effectiveness.
