LTSA has a mission critical mandate managing property registrations, yet its systems were out-of-date, difficult to support and incompatible with newer technology. Faced with significant technology and operational risk, I directed an aggressive make-or-break transformational project known as the Business Transformation Initiative. Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Business Transformation Team that successfully delivered this transformation which involved employees distributed across four offices, and three contractors. The transformation, likened by the team “to performing heart surgery on a patient while the patient did a triathlon”, was successfully completed under budget and on schedule. The team's well-planned change management program has enabled LTSA employees to embrace the benefits of automation. Customers and stakeholders are strongly supportive - 95% of LTSA's business is now done electronically.

Management of day-to-day business operations of software development business unit and group holding company including budget management and cost control; monitoring of performance against business plans; producing group monthly forecasts; management of capital budget, including reviewing of investment business cases.

Product Manager for a RF sensor system with responsibilities including business development - identifying market trends, potential international customers and opportunities; developing existing customer relationships; managing, preparing and winning bids; proposals and quotations for new business. This covered both commercial and government markets in USA, Europe and Australia. Program Manager for ensuring that technical development on individual contracts fulfilled overall product strategy.
