A 501c3 organization operated by and for veterans with the mission of " Ensure the memory of, and support to, those who serve". It is also a memorial and military museum reflecting the service of those who who enter. Named by the North Carolina magazine "Our State" as the most patriotic coffe shop in America. We provide support to veterans in need and also educational programs for the local schools. It is a place of support and healing for those who have served overseas in difficult situations.

Recently published "Saddle Up! The Story of a Red Scarf" which recounts the experiences of a combat tour in Vietnam from 1969 - 70. The story centers on my time as a recon platoon leader and recounts the legacy of 30 incredible young American infantrymen who served in Fox Force, the Recon Plt of the 1st BN, 14th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division in the Central Highlands of the former South Vietnam.

Various positions in International HR and International Program Management to include 10 years resident in Japan. In Tokyo managed in-country programs worth $40 Million a year. In Boston managed technical support to Patriot missile units during Desert Storm.

Served in various locations to include CONUS, Vietnam, Japan with temporary duty trips to Panama and countries throughout Asia. Commanded units up to 450 people. Served as an infantry officer and was trained as a Japan specialist for 2.5 years. Final asignement was as a division and installation IG.
