John formed 3re Limited, a risk management and project delivery consultancy in March 2010 with former colleagues from Bovis Lend Lease. They now have several clients and have worked in the UK and the Mediterranean on Power, Transportation, Railways, Nuclear, Business Continuity and Renewable Energy projects including Wind Turbines and Wave Energy schemes. The main theme of the business these days is turning data into Business Intelligence.John has worked in the construction industry since 1967 and was with Bovis Lend Lease from 1987 till 2010, previously working at the Athletes Village installing and managing one of the first truly enterprise wide risk management systems in the construction/development sector. John is qualified with an MSc and an MBA and has experience in Construction and Project Management, Quality systems and Risk Management; in the past he has also been responsible for setting up Knowledge Management and Knowledge sharing systems.Specialties: Specialists in business intelligence, quality management, project risk management and risk analysis, with expert skills in cost and schedule analysis and Monte Carlo simulation, also database design and development. Responsible for training and developing several of the industries recognised risk professionals. Also responsible for advising senior management and major projects on risk management and risk applications.Currently advising Costain and Network Rail on the delivery of London Bridge Station as part of an integrated team. Supplying business intelligence advice and support since April 2012.
