As the Social Secretary of LMS, it is my duty to organise all social events throughout the year, making sure as many people as possible can experience Cardiff's vibrant live music scene. Last year this included: - Regular open mic nights- Showcase gigs highlighting some of the Universities best bands and solo acts across local venues- Arranging live music for the university Real Ale Festival, which last year had 25 ales, 35 ciders, 3 kegs and 3 cocktails- Arranging a Battle of the Bands to support charity, raising over £1200 last year.
