I implemented the Eureka! Math Curriculum, and the Lucy Caulkin's writing curriculum. The classroom had one-to-one technology. I supplemented the core curriculum.

I student though in a diverse classroom at Swift Elementary School in Chicago's Roger's Park neighborhood. The class was diverse, with many native languages spoken by students, including but not limited to, Spanish, Arabic, and Yoruba. I worked with my mentor teacher, first teaching small groups, and then taking over instruction for a two-week block.

I student taught in a 5th grade classroom at Carrol-Rosenwald Elementary School in a self contained classroom, and then 3rd graders at Swift Elementary School.

I worked at Kozminski Elementary School in a number of capacities--as a math tutor in a 3rd grade classroom, as well as after school with middle school students. I also worked in an afterschool cooking club with both elementary and middle schoolers.
